My new website gives me the awesome opportunity to have a mobile site. These are two screen shots from my iPhone that show how it looks and how you can save the web app to the home screen of your phone.
Some things I like about the mobile site include:
1. I like that you can still view the slideshow and any slideshows in my posts.
2. I really like the layout.
3. The blog post and pictures are very clean and uncluttered
4. It is easy to check regularly because it sits right on my phone, icon and all.
5. I don’t have to type in a special URL, all I do is type amyjosphotography.com into my web browser
If you would like this on your device all you have to do to save it to the home screen. On an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad you would go to my website in Safari, and at the bottom of the screen you will see an icon that looks like a box with an arrow shooting out of it. One of the options when you select that icon is “Add to Home Screen”. Select that, then you can name it what you would like. It should appear on your home screen as a green icon with an “a” in it after that. On my screen shot you can see what it looks like in the (almost) bottom left corner. It is called Amy Jo Photo. Try it out, I think it’s a really great new feature.
