WPPI Day #2… Crazy Awesome Jasmine Star, and Still Loving My Badge
Confession: I brought oatmeal and ate it in my room for breakfast. I loved it.
Two words: Kelly Moore
Kelly Moore makes beautiful, stylish camera bags. They are very similar to my Jo Tote, but they have a lot of options, and Kristen has been dying to get one. As soon as our first class was over we rushed to the trade show so she could buy one of these awesome bags. Our mission was a success. She was hoping to get one she could use on our trip, but the one that was the best option for her needed to be shipped to her. She got the show special though, so that is what counts. What made it even more awesome is that Kelly Moore was there. There is nothing like getting a picture with the creator of your awesome bag!

We checked out my favorite business card, sticker, postcard company. Moo.
We had gotten so much stuff that we needed to catch the monorail and drop some of it off before we went to see Jasmine Star.
Jasmine Star was so phenomenal. We were on the second row. I was lovin’ it! Every time I have ever heard her speak, or read her blog, she changes me for the better. She is so real, and so open about her feelings and her photography. She makes me want to be a better person as well as a photographer. She went from never having picked up a camera 5 years ago, to a huge success today. She follows her dreams and she gives her all. I see that if I set goals and work at achieving them, I can be successful. She is genuine, and I will give you a little hint, but in the Day #3 post, I GET TO MEET HER! Sometimes a person is so nice, you just want to be there friend. If you ever want to read about Jasmine Star, her blog is www.jasminestarblog.com. Check her out.

We finished off Day #2 in our Tom’s at the Canon Mardi Gras party which wasn’t as fantastic as we had hoped, but we got to eat and have our pictures taken, so it worked out well. When the picture that Canon took is posted, I will download it and post it here.
On the way back to our room we saw this in the hallway. We thought it was quite Vegas-esque.

Amy Jo - Thanks for commenting! =) I am so glad someone else was listening to Jasmine and having their heart touched. Keep checking back for more posts.
Tammynize - the kelly moore bags are gorgegous…and I see you got a shoot sac too. I use moo for my cards and I am so satisfied with them. I was at the Jasmine Star seminar too and when she told that story about her friend with cancer, omg, my heart just squeezed so tight. Thanks for sharing.
